Scott's Farwell

My brother Scott is leaving this week to go on his mission. Today we went to church to hear him talk at his farwell and then had a big family party afterwards. We are sure going to miss Scott while he is gone but we are so proud of him. He has turned into an amazing young man! We know he will do great on his mission and will change many lives. Here are some pictures from today.

Children's Museum

Today Logan and I went with Jessica and Jake to the Children's Museum in downtown Mesa. It was so much fun. We got there right when they opened at 10am and let our little guys run around and have fun for an hour or so. Logan really loved it. He thought it was cool that he could run all over the place. Thanks to Jessica for letting us use her pass!

Sooo Funny

I love the things teenagers do sometimes. So a few days ago Justin (who is 14 years old) comes downstairs. He is all dressed up, put fresh gel in his hair, has cologne on, and has his nice silver watch on.

Me: "Wow, you look nice...why are you so dressed up? You even have cologne on."

Him: "Cuz I saw the TV crew outside and thought they were coming to our house to video tape us."

Me: "What, what TV crew?"

Him: "I don't know I just see their Home Team Defense van outside and they are unloading equipment."

Me: "Hmm, let's go look and see.

We go look out the window and see a big "Home Team PEST Defense" van outside because the neighbors are getting their house sprayed.

I laughed my butt off. He said, "Well I guess we've been watching too much Super Nanny and I thought they were coming to our house." Hmmm, do we need the Super Nanny?
