Happy Birthday Justin

On April 2nd, fifteen years ago, a very special person was born...Justin! I first met Justin when he was just six years old and have felt blessed ever since. I am so amazingly grateful for the opportunity to be an influence in this young man's life. Justin is such a mature 15 year old. He manages his life so wonderfully...he excels at school and football and he makes time for friends and family. He also has a wonderful tender heart. His football coach was 100% right when he said that Justin was the heart of the team. He is also the heart of our family. The other night, for example, he had one ice cream treat left that I knew he really, really wanted. He knew I liked it too so he split it with me without me even asking, which meant a lot to me. It shows that he cares about other people's feelings.

I have no doubt that Justin and I knew each other in the pre-existance (before our home here on earth). And I have no doubt that we had a special relationship and that I was honored to be his step mom cuz everytime he calls me his mom or his step mom I get the happiest feeling. I hope I can do right by him and help Scott raise this special spirit to the best of our ability.

Happy Birthday Justin, I love you very much you are a wonderful son!!!!...sorry if this got too mushy! Check out Justin's new haircut. Doesn't he look great?
